Chefs in Competition Q&A with Chef Richard Rosendale

We finish our Chefs in Competition series with Catherine E. Toth's interview with Certified Master Chef and 2013 Bocuse d'Or Team U.S.A. captain, Richard Rosendale.

Rosendale will be joining fourteen other chefs at Savory Ever After held at the Ko Olina Resort with Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa. He and Chef Stephen Durfee will also be sharing their competition experiences at our Dream Bigger Dreams forum on Sept. 9 at Kapiolani Communty College.

Malama Maui kicks off the 2013 Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival

The Third Annual Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival has officially begun with the huge success of our inaugural Malama Maui event at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa.

Malama Maui is our first event held outside the island of Oahu. I featured great dishes from chefs Marcel Vigneron, Gregory Grohowski, Rick Tramonto, Sheldon Simeon, Hiroyuki Sakai and Beverly Gannon.

Chefs in Competition Q&A with Chef Stephen Durfee

Continuing our Chefs in Competition series, Catherine E. Toth interviews the United States representative in the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie, Chef Stephen Durfee.

Durfee will join fifteen international chefs at Under the Modern Moon presented by Hawaiian Airlines at the Modern Honolulu on Sept. 5. He will also be sharing his competition experiences along with Chef Richard Rosendale at our Dream Bigger Dreams forum on Sept. 9 at Kapiolani Communty College.

Chefs in Competition Q&A with Sheldon Simeon

Kicking off our Chefs in Competition series is Catherine E. Toth's interview with Top Chef Seattle stand-out, Chef Sheldon Simeon.

Simeon will be one of the chefs participating at our inaugural event outside the island of O‘ahu, Malama Mau‘i held this Sunday, Sept. 1 at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa. He'll then make the trip to O‘ahu for Taste Our Love for the Land at the Hawai‘i Convention Center on Saturday, Sept. 7.
