Spice Market + Cocktails connects East and West as chefs and mixologists cook-up and shake-up dishes and drinks inspired by the flavors found along the Silk Road. HFWF veterans, Ming Tsai (Blue Dragon, MA), Charles Phan (Slanted Door, SF), Ken Oringer (Toro, NY), join up-and-coming new chefs, Brandon Jew (Mr. Jiu, SF), Chris Oh (Hanjip, CA), Mamoru Tatemori (Honolulu, HI) and seven others to create flavor palates found in China, Vietnam, Turkey, India, Thailand, Japan and Korea among others. 

This year, we also transform the Sunset and Sunrise pool decks at THE MODERN HONOLULU into a cocktail lounge with four grand tasting bars featuring nine mixologists. Favorite, Chandra Lucariello, Master Mixologist from Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Hawaii, curated the team that includes Natasha David (Nitecap, NY), Marco Dionysos (ABV, CA), Ann Louis Marquis (Campari America, NY), Julie Reiner (Clover Club, Leyenda & Mixtress Consulting, NY), Katie Stipe (Diageo Global Spirits Co., NY), KJ Williams (Long Island Bar, NY), Reymundo Delagado (Mina Group, HI), Justin Park (Bar Leather Apron, HI).

Come join us as belly dancing takes place on the hottest pool deck bar lounge in town. World-class wines poured by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Hawaii and refreshing beers from Anheuser-Busch will also be poured.
