Jason K. Kina is the Executive Sous Chef at the award-winning JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina. With more than 35 years of culinary experience, Kina has served numerous dignitaries, celebrities, and professional athletes. He has been inspired by the Hawaii Regional Cuisine movement since its beginning in 1991. Born and raised on Oahu, Kina’s cooking inspiration is inspired by the diverse ethnic and cultural landscape in Hawaii where he enjoys using local, fresh ingredients harvested from the land and vast Pacific.
