Knaubert’s career has taken him across four continents, from Chicago to Beijing as one of the company’s most decorated chefs, having helmed numerous award-winning restaurants, including Time Out Beijing’s “Best International Hotel Dining Award” at MIO and “Best Chinese Restaurant in China” by the Voyage Gourmet Gold List at Cai Yi Xuan in Beijing. Knaubert was also awarded the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand Award in 2014 at Deca Restaurant + Bar in Chicago. Knaubert’s eclectic and adventurous menus feature globally inspired cuisine, influenced by his travels abroad.
As Executive Chef of Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, Knaubert will incorporate his forward-thinking culinary approach throughout the resort’s six distinct outlets to showcase Hawaii’s seasonality while working alongside the very best farmers, fishermen and purveyors the islands have to offer.
