Kyle Reutner is the brand manager for Kō Hana Hawaiian Agricole Rum and cofounder of Hawaii Bitters Company. Previously, Kyle was the bar manager at The Pig & the Lady, and during the last decade, has worked behind the stick at the best bars in Honolulu under the tutelage of Christain Self, Dave Newman and Jon Schwalbenitz. In 2012, he was nationally recognized as one of Ten “Mixologists to Watch” by Beverage Media. As one of the founding members of Hawaii’s USBG, Kyle has been able to help other barmen grow and looks forward to the continuing ascent of Honolulu’s cocktail culture. Kyle is currently apprenticing at the Manulele Distillery in Kunia, making local agricole-style rum to learn the art of distillation. With his work in the restaurant industry, his bitters company, and a distillery Kyle hopes to help Hawaii’s beverage scene progress to heights well beyond expectations.
